Risk-Based Security

Risk-based security involves deep analysis during the planning process to ensure security resources are allocated in the best way possible.  For example, a security risk assessment of most VIPs will show their primary security/safety concern should be that of a car accident. Yet, their bodyguards most likely train more often to deal with armed assassins.

A risk-based security plan focuses resources on the statistically most probable and critical threats, not the ones most played out in the movies.
